UPA Hyderabad Introduction

Welcome to the Hyderabad Chapter of Usability Professionals' AssociationThis chapter unfurls a new beginning in the area of Usability to promote the principles of usable design in India. It successfully brings together User Interface designers, Interaction Designers, Usability engineers, Human factors engineers, Tech/doc writers, QA testers, Developers, Students, researchers, consultants and all those working for HCI to network, share and develop novel concepts .

A group of Usability professionals from Oracle, Kanbay, Convergys, Microsoft, Cordys etc have initiated the formation of Hyderabad UPA chapter and invites you to join this chapter to promote usability practices in India. Oracle along with UPA hyderabad are actively pursuing UPA Board of Directors to reduce the membership fees for Developing countries.Right now we are looking for volunteers for World Usability Day 2006 (14th Nov) and companies to host monthly UPA meets. If you are interested to share your experience in HCI then you can be our speaker or Host.You can reach us through email at upahyderabad@gmail.com.

All our monthly meets are free for everyone. Check our recent meets. We thank UPA Board of Directors and the UPA Chapters Co-director - Dave Mitropoulos-Rundus in helping us form the India UPA Chapter.
